The way a lot of the
Cubs see it, they don't have to wait
until next year. They already have started turning things around
for 2011 by the way they finished this season.
There might not be a lot of people outside the organization who
are so sure of it. But stranger things have happened, especially
around this team.
And none stranger or more unexpected than a 24-13, six-week
turnaround to close the season under the guidance of a former
third-base coach whose name ESPN anchors still can't correctly
pronounce.
But the ''SportsCenter'' crew might get an extended chance to
add that second syllable to Mike Quade's last name if he is given
the
Cubs' full-time managing job.
